Three ways to wear LUWAKI.
Your sculptures arrive clean and uncoloured. Then you choose the experience that suits you, and tell us in your bag.
Builder gel, at a partner salon
Have your pieces professionally applied and coloured at a LUWAKI partner salon, with the colour you choose: builder gel is a salon process. It holds for about a month, and it's single-use: once the gel is removed, the set can't be worn again. Salon services are charged separately by the salon. Our partner salons are opening soon.
Makartt glue
The glue and remover we've tested with LUWAKI, for your own nail professional or as your own project. Remove your sculptures with care and wear them again.
Your preferred method
You're free to apply your sculptures with the adhesive or method you trust. Other methods may affect how long they last and whether they can be worn again.
LUWAKI provides the form. You decide how it becomes yours.

ONE WEAR
How long does one application last?
A wear is one continuous application. With the recommended glue, it typically lasts one to two months, through normal everyday activities. Yours may vary with the application, your lifestyle and other factors.
REMOVAL
Take them off with care.
Use the Makartt remover as its instructions describe. Never force or pull a firmly attached sculpture from the nail: the right removal keeps it for its next wear.

You're free to use another glue or remover. Other products and methods may affect how long your sculptures last and whether they can be worn again.
BUILDER GEL
One wear, held for a month.
Builder gel is applied at a LUWAKI partner salon and holds for about a month. It's single-use: once the gel is removed, the set can't be worn again. To wear your sculptures more than once, use Makartt glue.
WHEN A SINGLE NAIL NEEDS REPLACING
You don't have to replace the whole set.
Sometimes one sculpture has an unfortunate encounter with the real world. If a nail from a delivered order is damaged or lost, replace just that piece from your account:
ACCOUNT → ORDERS → YOUR DELIVERED ORDER → REPLACE A NAIL
Your records remember the form. A replacement is made to the original order: the same design, the same shape and the same size, at today's price for one nail. Each finger of a set can be replaced once; after that, it's a new set. A different design or shape is a new creation, and a new set.

Can I buy more glue?
Yes. A Makartt kit is bought for a set: beside a new set in your bag, or for a set you've ordered from Account → Orders → ADD A GLUE KIT.
What if one nail breaks?
Replace just that nail from your account: open the delivered order and choose REPLACE A NAIL. Each finger of a set can be replaced once; after that, it's a new set.
Can I change the design when ordering a replacement?
No. A replacement reproduces the original design, shape and size. A different design or shape is a new set.
What if I lose a nail?
If it was part of a delivered order in your account, you can order that exact nail again with REPLACE A NAIL.
